With the kids going back to school this week we get to reintroduce our excellent off peak offer! With steam trains running every day until the end of November, rain or shine, there is plenty of time to come down for a train ride and play!!

Although Colleens cabin is now only open at weekends we have a lovely selection of sandwiches and snacks available in the ticket office!

'Smokey Joe' gently raising steam ready for the first train at 11am, dont forget to bring your welly boots along!!

Open 7 days a week, rain or shine! The kettle is on ready to make your hot chocolates and if the sun does come out the icecream freezer is fully stocked.

We've been made aware this morning of road works on the approach to the railway. Let them know your coming here and they'll either let you through or ask you to drive round to the other side, following the diversion, where they'll let you through (depending which end there working on when you come).

Join us for a mile long ride this summer behind a real steam engine, open 7 days a week until the end of November, first train at 11am and the last at 4.30pm and with;

FREE adventure play area
FREE under fives play area
FREE onsite parking
FREE picnic area's
FREE bouncy castle

Hot and cold food and drinks being served from 'Colleen's Cabin' between 10.30am and 2.30pm weekends and local school holidays!

**We're still open**

We've been made aware this morning of road works on the approach to the railway. Let them know your coming here and they'll either let you through or ask you to drive round to the other side, following the diversion, where they'll let you through (depending which end there working on when you come). They have assured us that it'll only be until lunchtime.

We have some huge news!

The beady eyed among you might have seen a visitor lurking under a tarpaulin from the carpark but we are now pleased to announce the arrival of our new locomotive 'Mountaineer'!

Pictured below is a little taste of what's to come, its so nice to see her reunited with the carriages she used to pull over in Tasmania!

A more detailed overview of her history will be posted in the coming weeks!

It's the last week to make use of our term time offer before the local schools break up at the end of the week and the weather is perfect for a train ride and play with an icecream too!!

Steam trains run daily until the end of November, first train is 11am and the last is 4.30pm!
