📦 PACKING SERVICE BOOKED? HERE’S HOW TO PREPARE

If our team is packing your home for your upcoming move, there are a few important things to do before the packing crew arrives 👇

🔑 Keep important keys separate
House keys, new property keys, window keys, garage keys, storage keys and any other keys you may need.

📄 Put important documents aside
Passports, driving licences, property documents, certificates and anything you may need during or immediately after the move.

💊 Keep medication with you
Do not leave essential medication to be packed with your household belongings.

💍 Separate valuables & personal essentials
Jewellery, cash, wallets, phones, chargers and other important personal items should stay with you.

🧳 Prepare an essentials bag for moving day
Include clothes, toiletries, chargers, medication, children’s essentials and anything you may need before your boxes are unpacked.

🗑️ Remove anything you don’t want packed
If something is staying behind, being disposed of or should not be packed, clearly separate or label it before we arrive.

👕 Decide what needs to stay with you
Put aside coats, shoes, work items, school items and anything your family will need before and immediately after moving day.

🐾 Keep pets safe and comfortable
Packing day can be busy, with our team moving between rooms and doors being opened regularly. Please keep dogs, cats and other pets in a safe, secure area away from the packing team, or arrange for them to stay with family, friends or a pet sitter where possible.

Keep pet food, medication, leads, carriers and anything they may need during the day separate so these items are not accidentally packed.

📦 Leave the rest to us
There’s no need to start packing items included within your professional packing service. Our team will arrive with the appropriate packing materials and carefully prepare your belongings for the move.

⭐ TOP TIP: CREATE A “DO NOT PACK” AREA

Before our team arrives, choose one clearly marked area for keys, passports, important documents, medication, valuables and moving-day essentials. Let our packing team know about this area when they arrive.
