🐻✈️ Oh my fluffiness, yesterday my favourite hooman and I had the most wonderful day out at Aerospace Bristol! This was our third visit since we first toddled along in October, and I’m still as excited as a cub on his first flight!
The brilliant thing is, once you buy a ticket you can come back as many times as you like for a whole year. Best investment ever, in my teddy opinion! There’s so much to see, starting with a whole section all about Bristol’s incredible 100+ years of aviation history. Just next door you’ve got the Airbus factory building wings for the A320 and Rolls-Royce making those mighty aeroplane engines. We didn’t do the extras this time, but they have a Red Arrows simulator and a Typhoon experience if you fancy it!
Of course we had to stop for proper teddy refuelling… a big slice of Maple and Pecan cake with a cup of tea. Mmmm, my tum-tum is rumbling again just thinking about it! 🍰
Outside there’s a smashing play area for all the mini-hoomans, with picnic tables and play equipment shaped like an aeroplane and a helicopter. I thought that was absolutely pawsome!
But the best bit, the bit that makes my stuffing go all wobbly every single time… seeing Alpha Delta, better known as Concorde. She’s the last one ever built, and every time I see that beautiful, graceful shape and those powerful engines I get properly emotional. She beat time itself, London to New York in under three hours! I even snuck a quick photo sitting in one of her seats… don’t tell anyone! Shhh! 🐻💙
What an incredible day. My heart is still flying high!
