Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from the Newcastle United Foundation to the Tyne Tunnels for a behind-the-scenes careers tour! 💙

The visit gave students a valuable insight into the wide range of roles across our organisation, hearing from our controller, to exploring one of our operational vehicles, and taking part in a Q&A session with our contact centre team.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us, it was a fantastic afternoon and great to see so much enthusiasm and curiosity! 😊

Last summer, we welcomed Youtuber Tom Scott to the Tyne Tunnels for a behind-the-scenes tour, giving him a closer look at what really goes on beneath the Tyne. 🚗

We are currently seeking a proactive Maintenance Officer to join our team at TT2 Limited, the operator of the Tyne Tunnels. In this position, you will play a key role in supporting the Maintenance Team to plan, organise, deliver and review scheduled and reactive maintenance on the tunnels, buildings and all associated infrastructure, systems and equipment.

What we offer:

💰 A full-time contract with a salary of £49,903 – £52,421
