Last night I had the pleasure of spending the evening on the beautiful St Croix River networking with other travel agents and travel partners.

I had the opportunity to chat with representatives from river cruise lines and other suppliers so I can match you to the right vacation.

My biggest takeaway?

⭐️Just like ocean cruises…not all river cruises are created equal.⭐️

Each river cruise line has its own personality, design, and ideal traveler.

Here’s a quick breakdown:

🚲Avalon Waterways- perfect for active, curious travelers who want flexibility. Think included excursions with options (hiking, biking, vineyard tours), modern ships, panoramic views, and opportunities to explore destinations your way.

🍷Vikings River Cruises- Designed for adults (18+) looking for a calm, culturally immersive experience. Great for travelers who love destination-focused itineraries, enrichment, and a relaxed atmosphere.

🍽️ AmaWaterways- Ideal for travelers who want elevated, more inclusive experience with exceptional service, wellness activities, included specialty dining, and immersive excursions. Great for foodies, active travelers, and those celebrating something special.

✨Celebrity River Cruises- The exciting new arrival to river cruising! Travelers can expect Celebrity’s signature modern luxury, premium experience they are known for on the oceans paired with the intimate, destination immersive, slower pace of the European river ways.

The “best” river cruise isn’t necessarily the most popular or the one your neighbor loved- it’s the one that matches your travel style.

Let’s be honest…. The world feels differently lately.

A Little Personal Update❤️

So many of you reached out with supportive messages while my husband was sick so I thought I’d share an update with you all.

I’m so grateful to share that my husband came home at the end of April after a long 2 month hospital stay.

He is still seeing his occupational and physical therapists to work on strength, coordination, mobility, and endurance- but overall he’s doing great.
He has returned back to work and getting back into normal life. It feels really good to see things returning to mostly normal for our family.

We still keep a close eye on everything, but for the most part he seems to be on the mend. We’re so thankful and don’t take any of this progress for granted.

In other happy news….our oldest is home for the summer after finishing his freshman year of college. Having us all together this summer is making this mamma heart happy.

Thank you to everyone who reached out, checked in, sent messages, prayed, and supported our family during a really difficult time. We felt every bit of it and are so grateful.

✈️ From “this might not be possible” to “it’s officially booked” — this one is special.✈️

A client reached out in March with a dream: a 10-night Ireland journey with a private driver, featuring stops in Dublin, Di**le, Cork, Kinsale, etc.

And after a deep dive into options, it became clear this exact trip wasn’t going to come together for June.

Here’s the honest truth: peak summer + highly customized itineraries + luxury accommodations = very limited availability.
A trip like this needs to be booked about 9 months out from travel.
