Be Safe, Be Seen!🦺🔦

As the days get shorter and darker, it's harder for drivers to spot people out walking or waiting for The Bus. 👀

Turning on your phone screen 📱or using the phones flashlight or even a normal flashlight🔦 to signal The Bus can make sure the driver sees you!🤓

✨Reflective or light colored outerwear really helps you to be seen and be safe on the road. What you wear matters! ✅

Be Safe! Be Seen! and as always: See you on The Bus!💙

🌙 Be Safe, Be Seen! 🚗

As the days get shorter, it's harder for drivers to spot people out walking. What you wear matters!

🖤 Dark clothing → seen from just 65–95 feet away
🤍 Light clothing → seen from 195 feet away
✨ Reflective gear → seen from 400 feet away

🚙 An average car needs 124 feet to see you, react, and stop.

The math is simple: the more visible you are, the more time a driver has to stop safely. 💡

Dress bright, dress reflective — Be Safe, Be Seen! 🦺🔦

Be Safe, Be Seen!👀

🚗A car driving above 30 mph takes more than 200 feet to see, react and stop. Buses take double that to stop!

Be safe in darker weather! Be shiny✨, reflective🪞 or light 🔦and stand out to be seen!

Carry a light or turn on your cellphone flashlight📱 while you walk for extra safety.
