Yesterday we went through the Panama Canal. We went from Colon on the Atlantic side by bus to Gamboa and then took a ferry through the locks to the Pacific Ocean.

It was an absolutely amazing day. This is an ABSOLUTE MUST DO on your bucket list

Some pictures of Aruba....We were surprised that they got so little rain. Cactus 🌵 were everywhere outside of the hotel areas. They have beautiful beaches on one side and crazy dangerous surf on the other side of the island.

Just realized I haven't posted here in awhile.......we have been busy traveling the world. Alaska, Japan, Philippines, Singapore and Malaysia in the fall. Mexico last month and now we are on a 14 day journey's cruise to Panama and more.

Today we are in Aruba!! It is beautiful so far. We will be going a on back country tour in a few minutes. There saying here is

I am getting excited. In 35 days we leave on our Alaska and Japan cruise. We then have a month on land and then a 25 day cruise back from Singapore.

We learned how they make bricks in Mexico. Sawdust, sand and cow manure 🙄 These men make at least 500 bricks a day each.

We just embarked on the Carnival Firenze for her inaugural sailing. We are headed to Mexico. She is very similar to her sister ship Carnival Venezia.

The crew are all having a good time and greeted us as we boarded. We also got to see the ribbon cutting and Christine Duffy, Carnival CEO welcomed all of us.

Spent the day in Miami. It was a stop on the Carnival Venezia on its way to the Bahamas. Loved the art deco style and wall paintings!!
