This is 1 hour from San Francisco…

📍Save this for when you need a wine country escape from the city.

Napa and Sonoma sit just north of SF, with rolling hills, working wineries, and tasting rooms tucked into the valleys.

Our wine country tour covers two wineries, Sonoma Plaza, and all the driving, so the only thing left to plan is which wine to bring home. 🍇

Too many people overpay for Alcatraz tickets or show up at the wrong pier. Here's what you need to know from a 20-year San Francisco tour company. ⬇️

Comment ALCATRAZ and we'll send you the full breakdown… official ticket source, actual pricing, and everything we tell our guests before they go.

Third-party sites regularly list Alcatraz tickets well above the base price. Knowing where to book before you start searching saves money and removes the guesswork on the day.

Swipe for our top 7 eats in SF's Mission District. 👀

With 20 years and 5,700+ five-star reviews, nobody shows you San Francisco quite like Dylan's Tours. Comment TOURS to explore all the ways to see the city with us.

1️⃣ Tartine Bakery has been making some of the best bread and pastries in the country since 2002. Get there early for the morning buns.
2️⃣ Dandelion Chocolate is a bean-to-bar factory right on Valencia Street. The hot chocolate alone is worth the stop.
3️⃣ Craftsman and Wolves is a French-inspired patisserie where the pastries look as good as they taste. Their signature is the Rebel Within, a savory muffin with a soft-cooked egg baked inside.
4️⃣ La Taqueria is a James Beard Award winner and a Mission institution since 1973. Order the carnitas burrito, dorado style.
5️⃣ Tacos El Patron is known for their quesabirria tacos — crispy, stuffed with juicy beef and melted cheese, and served with consommé for dipping.
6️⃣ Fort Point Valencia is the neighborhood's beer hall, with craft beer, natural wine, and a crab roll that regulars keep coming back for.
7️⃣ Curio sits right next to The Chapel music venue on Valencia Street. Come for the cocktails and the patio, and stay if there's a show next door.

This neighborhood has more murals than any other in SF.

Follow for more insider SF travel tips and the best tours of San Francisco. ✨

🎨 The Mission District has over 500 murals, covering garage doors, alleyways, schools, churches, and entire buildings.

🌎 The themes range from cultural heritage to immigration to social justice, inspired by Mexican muralists like Diego Rivera.

📍 The highest concentration is in Balmy Alley, where murals first started appearing in the 1970s and exploded in the mid-1980s as a response to human rights violations in Central America.

Clarion Alley, started in 1992, is where you'll find ever-changing pieces that speak to today's community concerns.

And don't miss MaestraPeace on the Women's Building, a five-story mural painted by seven local women artists in 1994.

If you're visiting San Francisco, leave a day for Napa and Sonoma. You won't regret it. Here’s why…🍷

Comment WINE and we'll send you the full itinerary of our Ultimate Wine Country Tour!

The day starts with a Golden Gate Bridge photo stop on the way out of the city.

Your first tasting is at a boutique winery in Napa, followed by two hours in historic Sonoma Plaza for lunch.

Pick a Michelin-featured restaurant, grab a bottle and picnic in the park, or squeeze in a third tasting flight at one of the 30+ tasting rooms around the square.

Then it's on to a second tasting at a Sonoma winery before heading back to San Francisco around 6pm.

These houses survived a magnitude 7.9 earthquake and the fires that destroyed 80% of San Francisco. 🤯

Want to see them in person? Dylan's Famous Tour with Muir Woods makes a photo stop at Alamo Square. Comment FAMOUS for all the details.

Built in the 1890s, the Painted Ladies are seven Victorian homes that line Steiner Street, just across from Alamo Square Park.

They survived the 1906 earthquake and the fires that destroyed much of San Francisco. Today they're best known for their appearance in the Full House opening credits, with the SF skyline framed perfectly behind them.

The view from the top of Alamo Square is one of the best in the city.
