These trees were here long before San Francisco was built. 🌲

POV: one fact about redwoods changes the way you view the forest forever 🌲

Spend up to 90 minutes here on our Famous Tour with Muir Woods, with the drive and the reservation handled.

Most of the redwoods here are 600 to 800 years old, and the oldest has stood for at least 1,200. And there's a saying at Muir Woods that a redwood only spends half its life standing. The other half, it spends on the ground.

A fallen redwood becomes a nursery for seedlings, slowly turns back into soil, and feeds the giants still standing around it.

Muir Woods has never been logged, so that cycle has kept going on its own.

🌉 Golden Gate Bridge photo stop, then your first tasting in Napa
🍽️ Two hours to yourself in Sonoma Plaza
🍷 A second tasting over in Sonoma

Tasting fees and all the driving are handled, so you just show up and enjoy the day. You'll see both valleys and still be back in the city by evening.

A short drive past the Golden Gate Bridge, and the city disappears into a thousand-year-old redwood forest. 🌲

On the tour you cross the Golden Gate Bridge and head into the redwoods for about 90 minutes among trees that were standing long before the city was. Easy trails, quiet groves, and a local guide sharing the history the whole way.

One of our favorite places to take in the Bay Area is Hawk Hill in the Marin Headlands. This is usually a specail "weather permiting" stop.

You cross the Golden Gate Bridge, wind up the hill, and suddenly get this incredible view of the bridge, San Francisco, and the ocean all at once. Even after years of visiting, we still stop and take it in.

That's what a day with us feels like. Dylan grew up in San Francisco and started Dylan's Tours over 20 years ago with 25 cents and a flier from Kinko's.

All these years later it's still the same idea, the best viewpoints, the local stories, and SF the way it was meant to be seen.
