Get ready for Bloomsday and Beyond: celebrating Ireland, the Island of Writers. Join us this Bloomsday (June 16) on the L Taraval for readings from “Ulysses,” book giveaways and fun.

This metro route connects the Consulate General of Ireland and the United Irish Cultural Center and passes through the Twin Peaks Tunnel designed by the Limerick-born Michael O’Shaughnessy.

Together, we will celebrate Irish ingenuity and the city of San Francisco. Learn more:

HeadsUp: On Sunday, June 7, Dim Sum and Cars, a new neighborhood event, will take place on San Bruno Ave. btwn Felton & Bacon. The event will require Muni to reroute the 8 Bayshore and 9 San Bruno routes around the area.

HeadsUp: The 105th annual Italian Athletic Club Statuto Race will take place on Sunday, June 7, in North Beach starting at 9 a.m. The event will require a reroute of the 39 Coit Route.
