Purpose of Role
The Aircraft Maintenance Planner is responsible for the development, coordination, and control of short-term and long-term maintenance plans to ensure aircraft availability, airworthiness, and compliance with regulatory and manufacturer requirements. This includes scheduling routine inspections, tracking component lifespans, managing maintenance inputs, and liaising with engineering, flight operations, and regulatory bodies to optimize fleet reliability and efficiency.

Skill requirements
Educational Background:
● Matric essential or equivalent
● Maintenance Planning Certification Essential.

Professional and Knowledge Experience:

● Minimum of 5 years experience in Aviation industry
● Minimum of 3 years experience in Maintenance Planning of fleet size 5 aircraft or more
● Knowledge of the SACAA regulations
