At Dismas, talent comes from all kinds of backgrounds.

For Tommy Parsons and Joshua Shapiro, it started on the baseball field.

Tommy, now an Account Manager, played professionally in the St. Louis Cardinals organization, advancing to the Triple-A level after a standout collegiate career.

Joshua, Dismas' Controller, was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers following his time at Marshall University and went on to pitch professionally.

While their careers have taken them from the ballpark to the warehouse, many of the same qualities that made them successful in baseball continue to shape the way they work today: discipline, resilience, teamwork, and the ability to perform under pressure.

Both also hold master's degrees, bringing a unique combination of athletic experience and academic achievement to the Dismas team.

We're proud to have Tommy and Joshua on our roster.

Last week, Matt and other members of our leadership team fired up the grill to treat our associates to lunch as a small thank you for everything they do each day.

From the warehouse floor to the office, every person at Dismas plays an important role in our success. Taking time to celebrate our team and enjoy lunch together is just one of the ways we show our appreciation.
