Meet Zach Pekrul, a driver at our Hillsboro, ND project who joined the Transystems team last season!

Before getting behind the wheel of a truck, Zach worked as a professional baker! Now, when he's not hauling sugar beets, he enjoys hitting the open road with his camper. πŸ•οΈ His next adventure? A trip to Yellowstone National Park!

One thing Zach appreciates about working at Transystems is the flexibility to choose between driving on our summer construction hauls or taking the season off to travel and explore the country.

We're glad to have Zach on Team Green and wish him plenty of adventures ahead!

Brett originally started with Transystems at our Hillsboro, ND project before making the move to East Grand Forks to work closer to home and spend more time with his 2-year-old son.

There’s a rhythm to keeping sugar beets moving. 🚜

At our East Grand Forks project, Yard Loaders Wylie Neesdahl and Dave Graybow work in unison to keep beets flowing to American Crystal Sugar.

Truck to yard pile. Yard pile to plant belt. Back and forth, all shift long.

The coordination between these two is pretty impressive to watch, and it’s a great example of the teamwork and skill it takes to keep the operation moving.

From over-the-road to home every day. πŸš›

Moorhead Driver Purna Tamang spent 6–7 years as an OTR driver before making the switch to Transystems. Today, he enjoys driving locally, being home daily, and being part of a team that feels more like family.

That sense of family means so much to Purna that he encouraged his brother to earn his Class A CDL and join Transystems, too.

Here, Purna is wrapping up his pre-trip inspection and getting ready to hit the road for another day with Team Green.

Last week, Dennis Bekkerus delivered a new loader bucket to our Drayton project, and our maintenance team got right to work.

Loader Technicians Jordan Avery and Omar Abdi worked diligently to install the bucket. When they needed a little extra help getting everything lined up, Lead Tech Daniel Hysell and Technician Eddie Palomo jumped in to help position the bucket precisely so the pins could be installed.

It’s a great example of the teamwork that happens behind the scenes every day at Transystems. Working together, solving problems, and keeping our equipment ready to go is what keeps our operation moving.

Sunday evening in Drayton, we had a pretty impressive visitor keeping watch over Pile 9. πŸ¦…

Around 6 PM, this bald eagle settled in above the yard and gave the team a pretty incredible view.

With the beet piles below and another North Dakota evening winding down, Ryan Satterlund captured one of those moments that reminds us just how unique the places we get to work can be.

Not every day you have America’s national bird supervising the operation!
