Market Street Railway and Castro Art Walk are once again collaborating celebrate the connection between art and transit. For two days only, the San Francisco Railway Museum will be transforming into a pop-up gallery featuring art from the transit community!

Our opening event will take place from 4pm - 9pm on Friday, September 4th - stop by for a complementary glass of wine!

If you want to participate in the art walk, ride the F-Line to the Castro for the remainder of the Art Walk locations, and keep an eye out for hidden transit art pieces along the way - there will be a scavenger hunt with prizes.

Market Street Railway’s historic bar crawl is back and sailing down the Embarcadero🚋🍷

This lively bar crawl takes you down the Embarcadero aboard the F-Line, with stops at five bars full of fascinating history!

You’ll visit: Old Ship Saloon, Grumpy’s Restaurant & Pub, Pier 23 Cafe Restaurant & Bar, Sweetie’s Art Bar, and The Buena Vista.

The kickoff event takes place September 10th from 6 - 10pm. Can’t make it that night? No problem - you can still take part with a self-guided crawl using the passport provided. Collect a sticker at each bar, then email your completed passport to [email protected]!

All completed passports will be entered into a raffle to win a Market Street Railway museum store gift card:

1st prize: $50
2nd prize: $25
3rd prize: $10

Last year’s gallery featured over 30 works of art and garnered over 200 visitors - we can’t wait to celebrate the transit art community again!
