Brilliant Lady embarkation at Seattle cruise port...
-It's Pier 91, NOT Pier 66. Two cruise piers in Seattle and people mix them up constantly. Virgin Voyages sails from Pier 91 / Smith Cove Cruise Terminal at 2001 W Garfield Street. Type the full address into your Uber, don't just say "the Seattle cruise terminal."
-Plan on a $45 to $60 Uber from SEA airport. It's about 19 miles, 30 to 35 minutes in normal traffic. Light rail goes downtown but not to Pier 91, so you'd still need an Uber or bus from there.
-This is NOT a drop-bags-and-stroll port. There's basically nothing walkable around Pier 91. If you come early, plan to Uber somewhere, don't expect to wander off on foot.
-Right now there's ONE long line for luggage tags. Print yours at home to skip it!
-Have these on your phone before you walk up: Virgin Voyages app open, boarding pass screenshot, cabin number, passport. They will ask.
-Rockstars, ask where to go. The Rockstar signage isn't clear yet at this port. Check in at the wrong spot and they won't have your black band there.
-Sign up for Port Valet on the ship. It's free. They send your checked bags straight from the ship to your airline at SEA, so you don't see them again until your final destination.
-You can bring 2 bottles of wine per cabin. 750mL each, normal bottles only. Per cabin, not per person. Champagne counts because champagne is wine.
