vel and we are approved by Norfolk County Council as a transport operator. On the transport business side we offer transport management services. Operating as Transport Managers/CPC holders & consultants to small, local businesses in the highly regulated “Road Transport” industry and specialising in operator licence and drivers hours compliance.

Did you know……..Before COVID, half of the UK’s busiest airports (including Heathrow & Gatwick) let you drop off loved ones for FREE.

Then in 2021, airports introduced “kiss and fly” fees, claiming they needed to recover COVID losses. The pandemic ended… but the fees never went away. They just kept climbing.

Average drop off fees jumped 33% in the last year alone (from £5.30 to £7).

Gatwick shot up 43% from £7 to £10 for just 10 minutes.
London City was the last major holdout for free drop offs… until this year, when it started charging too.

Now ALL 20 of the UK’s busiest airports make a charge with no concessions.

Meanwhile, none of Europe’s top 10 airports charge a penny for drop offs.

Just the UK cashing in on a hug goodbye. 🙄

This is a “What’s that about?” post…… 😂

More and more drivers seem to have discovered a revolutionary new way of parking at the fuel pumps: pull up, hop out, lock the car and head off shopping, despite there being perfectly empty parking spaces elsewhere on the forecourt! 🤦‍♀️

Because obviously, why park in a parking space when you can park at a fuel pump and inconvenience everyone instead? 😂

Gotta love some of these new changes in attitude! 😒

A nice change today with a drive over to the Peak District for a 80th Birthday celebration.
Everyone’s enjoyed an afternoon tea in the summer sun……including me! What a pleasant surprise that was…..I was expecting to drive off to look for a meal deal!

Although Heathrow doesn’t publish the number of trolleys in service, the airport’s traffic figures show the scale they must support:

84+ million passengers per year (record level in 2025)

Peak days exceed 270,000 passengers

Even if only 25–35% of passengers use a trolley, Heathrow would likely see tens of thousands of trolley journeys every day! 😳

Frustrating stop and start driving from Norfolk but lovely surroundings for the waiting part of the day.
Big thank you to the car parking staff for finding me a nice shady spot with a breeze for the duration of the match. 🙏
