Another huge week completed. After returning from Ludlow late on Friday evening, I’ve almost caught up on all of the admin over the weekend, with just two quotes left to send out to customers today.

This is an award I won about a month ago, I’m not sure who voted for me , and this is certainly not the reason I do it all however I’m incredibly proud and humbled to have received the Sheringham Community Thank You Award for 2025/2026

Earlier this year, I took on the challenge of climbing the 15 highest mountains in Wales to raise money for Sheringham Youth FC, Thanks to the incredible support from friends, family, customers, and everyone who donated, we raised an amazing £896.32.

Every donation, message of encouragement, and share helped make it possible, and I’m genuinely grateful to everyone who got behind the challenge.

The rain has stopped, but the 5⭐ reviews haven’t — and we love it!

It’s been a slightly quieter week for Viking Removals, and if we’re honest, we probably needed it. The last few months have been incredibly busy, helping our wonderful customers relocate all across Norfolk and beyond.

🚚 Shetland Move Update – Ferry #2

We’ve made it safely to Laxo for our second ferry crossing, we may have taken a slight detour along the way… 👀

Of course, when you’re driving through Shetland and see a sign for Twatt, you simply have to stop for the obligatory photo.

Oh, and we’ve spotted 2 Mink Whales too! We will be on the lookout for Orca’s especially around Whalsey which litterally translates to “Whale Island”

Furthest move in Viking Removals history! 🚛⚓🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

In the next few weeks we will be carrying out our longest and biggest move ever — travelling all the way from North Norfolk to the Shetland Islands, and then onto another island called Whalsey.

This journey will take us by road up to Aberdeen, followed by an overnight ferry crossing of up to 15 hours to the Shetland islands 🚢 before another drive and then finally a 2nd ferry onto the island of Whalsey 📍

Jobs like this are a huge logistical challenge, and take some serious planning but we’re excited to take it on and proud that our valued customers trust Viking Removals with moves of this scale 💪

Huge thank you to everyone who supported my challenge! 🏔️💪

Proud to say I completed the 15 highest mountains in Wales in just 1 day — and raised an incredible £896.32 for Sheringham Youth FC ⚽

This challenge pushed me physically and mentally, but knowing I was doing it for such a great cause kept me going every step of the way.

I set off at 6am and finished around 3am

A massive thank you to everyone who donated, shared the fundraiser, and supported me throughout this journey. Your generosity will make a real difference for the club and the young players involved.

At Viking Removals, community means everything to us, and we’re proud to support local youth sport whenever we can ❤️

I am also very proud to be sponsoring Sheringham U9s Vikings again for the 2nd season.
